New Panasonic Products and New Release Software - December 2010 Release

Panasonic will be releasing new software releases as well as new products this winter. You can expect a new release of KX-TDE, KX-NCP, KX-TDA50G, as well as Communications Assistant, KX-TVA50 and KX-TVA200 voicemail systems, and a new line of DECT wireless phones.

The latest features will all greatly benefit Panasonic Phone System users and installers.

KX-TDE/ NCP v 4.2 Software will allow up to 100 TDE and NCP systems to be networked together with up to 128 IP Phones per system. Many of the new features require the purchase of enhanced software and will improve the networking features of the phone systems. You may network up to 100 sites, but up to 8 sites can be truly networked together and share system resources.

Some of the new feature enhancements include the ability to use the following features in up to 8 networked sites:

• 3 Digit Dial- between 8 sites
• Calling Name ID- see the name of the calling party from other sites (internal calls)
• Absent Text Message- seen on your display
• Blind transfer to voicemail
• Automatic Call Back- set a call back when an extension is busy
• Call Monitor/ Listen- Supervisors can listen in on calls, even at other networked sites
• Multiple ICD Groups- Set up ICD groups for up to 8 sites
• Network Paging- Page over any of the networked sites

Conference Calling will also be upgraded to allow up to 31 Listening members and up to 8 Party all speak. You can set up conference rooms for up to 8 rooms. There is also a new feature of Group Conference Call. You can set up a time in the system for a conference call and the system will call all members at the specified time either on their extension or on their cell phone. Communications Assistant will allow you to easily drop and drag members names into the group and choose between cell number or extension.

Panasonic is also announcing compatibility with a mobile twinning enhancement software through Mobisma. Mobisma software will allow mobile twinning to be a one number solution for Panasonic. It is a GUI interface for Smart Phones such as Blackberry, Symbian or Windows Mobile Compatible Devices. Coming soon they will have an app for iPhone and Droid as well. You can activate mobile twinning from your cell phone through this software. It also gives you one touch access to features such as log in/out of calling groups, access voicemail, intercom extensions, transfer back to the PBX, conference call, outbound dial through the PBX without showing your cell phone number, and much more. You can set presence settings that can be seen by other employees through Communications Assistant or through their display on their Panasonic phone.

KX-TDE100, KX-TDE200, KX-TDE600 as well as KX-NCP500 and KX-NCP1000 will all be compatible with the new features listed above as well as Mobisma Software.
